ABOUT ME
I was born on April 29, 1980 in Igualada, Barcelona.
At 4 years old I started to draw and I did not stop until adolescence.
With 11 years I discover oil painting, I start to receive painting classes in academies and at the same time painting individually at home.
I consider myself a very self-taught and creative painter, since I have always liked to experiment and explore things by myself.
My artistic references are Picasso, Dalí, Velázquez, Ramón Casas, John Singer Sargent, Caravaggio and also the old masters of the dutch school like Rembrandt, Frans Hals or Vermeer.
I like to learn different styles and absorb different painting techniques and combine them in my creations.

BIOGRAphy
Noel Quintana was born in Igualada. His life is marked by a complicated disease that affects coagulation and causes repetitive bleeding in the joints over the years. At the age of 5, his parents decided to enroll him in drawing classes at the Pèl&Ploma academy in Igualada. There, at the age of 11, he begins to paint in oil and later continues as a self-taught artist at home. After studying graphic design in Igualada, he took his first steps as an artist and was selected for the Ricard Camí Award in Terrassa with a fantastic horror-themed work. He also holds his first exhibition at the Museu de la Pell de Igualada, where he adopts the artistic name of Noël Kin.
Between the ages of 30 and 40, he devoted most of his time to taking care of his health, until at the age of 40, thanks to improved therapy and treatment, he managed to solve his walking problems and joint pain.
From the age of 40, he begins a new life and also artistic stage, and begins to publish large-format portraits on the Internet to show everything he has learned over the years studying the great masters of painting and his favorite artists, such as Rembrandt, Vermeer or Velázquez, as well as Dalí, Picasso and Miró.
In his recent paintings he has experimented with artificial intelligence to create characters for his works, thus combining the most traditional pictorial technique with the most current technology.
